Uturn Data Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate customer cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing AWS partner, working with some of the best technical minds while developing your skills in cloud architecture and consulting. The Solutions Architect will be instrumental in driving technical strategy and architecture decisions for our clients, helping them gain competitive advantages through innovative use of AWS services. 

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical pre-sales support to accelerate opportunities through the sales pipeline
• Partner closely with sales representatives to qualify opportunities and develop technical strategies
• Support sales operations in opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting activities
• Lead technical discovery sessions and architect solutions that align with customer business objectives
• Design and present cloud architecture proposals, technical presentations, and cost estimates to prospective clients
• Create compelling technical proposals and drive AWS partner funding opportunities
• Develop detailed technical documentation including solution designs, statements of work, and implementation plans 
• Work on various Optimized Licensing Assessments (OLAs) such as storage, VMware, Microsoft, or Oracle environments
• Execute migration readiness assessments and application portfolio analysis to develop transformation roadmaps
• Contribute to modernization assessments to identify opportunities for containerization and serverless adoption
• Partner with AWS account teams to align solution approaches with AWS Well-Architected Framework 
• Ensure smooth transition of projects to delivery and engineering teams through detailed knowledge transfer
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders from C-level to development teams
• Stay current with latest AWS services and cloud industry trends
• Participate in local industry activities to represent Uturn

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field strongly preferred
• AWS Associate Level Certification such as Solutions Architect Associate, Developer Associate, or SysOps Asscociate certification required
• Additional AWS certifications highly valued

Experience

Business Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technology consulting, solutions architecture, or similar technical role
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
• Proven track record of successful pre-sales technical engagements and solution development
• Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and modern application architectures
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and translate technical capabilities into business value
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in remote-first environments 
• Background in enterprise architecture patterns and distributed systems design 
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environment
